Mick and Ted

Went to visit night snake at Mollusk and was stoked to meet Mick Sowry the filmmaker behind SURFICA MUSICA and fellow blogger "clayfin" Ted. Both were checking out the shop after surfing Malibu, two fine gents for sure and I could tell that Ted was getting inspired by the many shapes that Mollusk had on offer (there are some new sledz in there people). 

Check out Mick's flick, which just won the best feature award at last week's New York Surf Film Festival.

Clean living under difficult circumstances....

Saw Paul Weller at the Wiltern last night, the show was fantastic as usual. Eton Rifles set the place ablaze!! Coming home(fittingly on a subway train) I realized that the man and his music from The Jam, The Style Council, and his solo stuff has been rocking my world for the last 28 years! Nostalgia hit me like a ton of bricks, but in a good way.
